Shoes Robin reporting in!
So people bring shoes back to us all the time and want to exchange them. This is usually fine, as most people just want to get a different size, color, etc but nothing is wrong with the shoes.
But there are a select few bastard customers that ALWAYS fucking bring back busted-ass, dirty shoes that have been worn HARD. Returns robins always tell them no (they’re used an not resalable), so the customer gets pissed, they want to talk to a manager and the manager rolls over for them.
The worst part of this is not that we’re essentially giving the customer free shoes every time they walk in the store (we have had people do this multiple times because they KNOW they can get away with it), but that it makes those of us that tell them no in the first place look like assholes, even though we are just following the companies written return policy. And this shit happens All. The. Time.
